A Weatherman for All Seasons:
The Life of Morton J. Rubin

The memoir covers the years 1942 to 1975 when Harry Rubin was a member of the U.S. Army. It details his enlistment while underage, his basic training, and later training in the Army Air Corps as an aircraft mechanic, crew chief, and flight engineer/gunner. After his honorable discharge at the end of World War II, he like most veterans, went to college on the G.!. Bill, but he stayed in the Army Reserve. He was called to active duty for the Korean War and stayed in the service until his retirement in 1975 as a Regular Army Colonel whose final assignment was Chief of Staff of the 24th Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Georgia. During those years he served in Korea, Germany, and Vietnam. The memoir was published in limited quantities for members of the family.
